Divorcees wishing to be married by our Priest.

Welcome to this page.

In the Anglican Church, we welcome couples who have either both been divorced, or one of you have been, to be married by our Parish Priest.

There are a few things that need to be done, but please do not let those things override your desire to be married by us!

• The priest will need to see your legal paperwork (proof of divorce).

• The Parish Priest will need to take copies of this paperwork and submit them along with an application form, for permission to marry a divorcee/divorcees, that says that the Priest is satisfied that your previous marriages are over legally and emotionally.

  (This will happen closer to your big day once you both and the Priest have met and are ready to proceed.)
